Technological Innovation.
The "Reduced Wiring System", based on "Twin Wires"
technology, permits the transmission of information and power to a
system composed of "Light Modules" or "DPD's"
(Digital Picking Displays), using only 2 wires.
System of conduits without wires.
The conduits, which are a support to house the Light Modules, supplied
by only 2 wires, need no wiring and transmit data and power at low
voltage by means, quite simply, of two metal rails located inside
them. As a result of this, the Light Modules can slide and move
comfortably along the conduit, whilst it is possible to install
them or take them from their position at any moment, even whilst
communication is occurring.
More economic installation, thanks to a drastic
reduction in installation time. The fact that wiring is reduced
to 2 wires and the system of transmission by rail along the conduit,
enormously simplify the installation and setup process. The bipolar
nature of the Light Modules makes an extra contribution to simplifying
use.
Flexible Installation.
This very simplicity lends it great flexibility in all kinds of
installation situations, for when systems need to be extended or
modified and, also, in already existing installations.
High versatility of the TW system.
It can cope with the most diverse conditions, both with regard to
the dimensions of the place it must be sited and where working environments
and atmospheres are concerned: low temperatures, condensation, places
where it may be subject to knocks, dirt, limited spaces or heights.
High Fidelity.
Due to the high performance capacity of the TW system, it requires
practically no maintenance.
Interactive communication of the TW system with any WMS
Software.
It is endowed with very flexible link protocol, compatible with
any kind of software, facilitating a high level of customisation
in the design of operational solutions. Each Light Module can be
controlled independently and individually via Software, without
there being interconnection by cable or connectors between the different
DPDs.
The WMS interacts constantly with the operator by means of the
Light Modules and other components that can be added to the system,
sending out instructions and receiving information on the state
of operations being executed (operation completed, breakage of stock,
incomplete picking, etc.).
It provides a wide range of operational possibilities to respond
to the infinite functional modes applicable using any Warehouse
Management Software.
The TW system comfortably admits the integration of other hardware
components (conveyor control, bascules, bar-code readers, signal
lights, batch displays,...)
DPDs with intuitive instructions, easy to see and hear.
This is a very simple method of working that requires no personnel
training. Light Modules are very visible, incorporating very luminous
LEDs in various colours (frequency of flashing can be configured)
that can be set so as to be seen from any distance, likewise offering
the possibility of setting sound emission at different intensities.
There is a wide assortment of models that adjust to a whole range
of personalised solutions.
Incorporated memory.
Light Modules have a nonvalatile memory incorporated which makes
it possible to store information concerning their location, whereby
any Light Module can have a location assigned or changed instantaneously
from its actual physical site in the store.
Alternative confirmation.
Each Light Module has a luminous pushbutton which is used to confirm
that a task has been executed. Similarly, they are equipped with
auxiliary ways of solving situations in which it is not possible
to activate the confirmation button: either via an attached sensor
for the detection of movement, or through confirmation by means
of a cord, a bar or pressure.
The conduits can be adapted to different angles
of inclination for better visibility and accessibility. They are
available in plastic and metal.
Complements. The product catalogue incorporates
a complete range of additional components for light modules: batch
displays, signal lights, I/O interfaces, bar-code reader interfaces
and so on.
Visible results in terms of speed, efficiency and productivity.
"Systems that double operational efficiency and provide 10
times greater performance precision."
